The Low Anthem Lettermen Appearance

Been really digging The Low Anthem lately. Great folk quartet out of Rhode Island, USA. Have some pretty interesting stories from their beginnings, play some pretty big festivals today, and just have some great music. Check em out...

Couple good tunes ...

Played a lot of stuff on the show today, but really dug these two and I thought I'd pass along the links.

First is Justin Townes Earle, Steve Earle's son and named after Townes Van Zandt. Song is about his folks, and a great tune, called Mama's Eye's ...

Second is Paul Thomas Saunders, young guy out of the UK, song is called Appointment in Samarra. Real good, and a wicked video too!

Mind Folk'd (Jan 13)

Today's show felt real good for some reason. Came into the booth and Kat was happy as crap about life, and it for sure rubbed off on me. Always glad to come into CJSW and have such cool people like Kat, Greg, Joe, other Kat, Hayley etc etc to be around ... I'm very thankful for that :)

Played some real root-sy stuff in the first half, and some awesome stuff that I've just uncovered in the second half. Stars are by the stuff I super like.

Talk to you next week, 10-11am MST :)
